VIDICO makes competence digitally visible
VIDICO (Visible Digital Competence) makes competence visible with digital contents. The needs of different types of actors are unified with the help of the VIDICO project to make competence and its utilisation visible. Actors participating in the project include, among others, the public, education and private sectors as well as the users of different services.
VIDICO comprises four separate subprojects:
- Process for making public services electronic and maturity model
- Model for gathering and recording tacit knowledge of organisations with digital methods
- Digital Campus service concept for educational institutes and companies
- Creative Foresight Space concept
Digitisation boosts operations and brings cost savings
In all subprojects, concrete operations models, methods and products are being created in order to use competence in a more efficient and useful manner in different areas. The hope is to see the impact of the project as a significant boost in operations and cost savings created through digitisation in the long term.
The VIDICO – Visible Digital Competence project, which started in the autumn of 2009, is an ERDF-financed project funded by the Regional Council of Päijät-Häme that is being jointly implemented by Technology Centre Innopark Oy, the Porvoo Unit of the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences as well as the Futures Research Centre of the University of Turku. The theme project is administered by Technology Centre Innopark Oy. The project will be implemented from 2009 to 2012.
