VIDICO makes service processes electronic
The project for making the service processes of the City of Hämeenlinna electronic is about to start. The ERDF-financed VIDICO project serves as a partner for the City of Hämeenlinna in the project for making service processes electronic. On the VIDICO project side, the project is being implemented by Project Manager Piia Liikka from Innopark Programmes Oy. The implementation of the VIDICO – Visible Digital Competence project began in Innopark in October 2009.
The project for making the service processes of the City of Hämeenlinna electronic has two objectives: to create a model for assessing whether the processes are ready to be made electronic and to calculate cost benefits as well as to make practical pilots for the processes that are being made electronic. The first areas included in the mapping are children and youth services, elderly services, health services, services promoting ability to function, land use and environment as well as services supporting operations (e.g., communications). The first pilot projects will start in the spring of 2010.
